Online shop luxecave.ch — version of 13 September 2026

LuxeCave is a brand operated by Wine Guard Sàrl, Zone Industrielle Champ Cheval 2, 1530 Payerne, Switzerland (UID CHE‑366.264.873, VAT). Contact: info@luxecave.ch · +41 26 660 56 80. Below, "LuxeCave" and "we" refer to Wine Guard Sàrl.

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on the online shop www.luxecave.ch by private or business customers domiciled in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. By placing an order, the customer accepts the terms in force on the date of the order. The customer's own terms do not apply unless we have agreed to them in writing.

2. Order and conclusion of the contract

The products presented on luxecave.ch are an invitation to order. The customer's order constitutes an offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we send the order confirmation by e‑mail; for payment by bank transfer, the order is confirmed once the transfer has been received. Before completing the order, the customer can check and correct it at every step of the cart.

All products are offered subject to availability. If an item can no longer be delivered, we inform the customer without delay and refund any amount already paid in full within 10 days.

3. Prices

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), Swiss VAT included. Any delivery and installation costs are displayed in the cart before the order is completed; they are shown separately and included in the total to be paid. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we inform the customer before dispatch and let them either confirm at the correct price or cancel free of charge.

4. Payment

Payment is made at the time of the order by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Twint, PayPal or bank transfer. Card and Twint payments are processed by Stripe over a secure connection; we never have access to card details. For bank transfers, the bank details appear on the confirmation page and in the order e‑mail; the item is reserved for 7 working days and dispatched once the amount has been received. Business customers may request an invoice payable within 30 days by e‑mail before ordering.

5. Delivery and collection

We deliver in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The customer chooses one of the following options in the cart:

  • Collection in Payerne (free): at our premises, Zone Industrielle Champ Cheval 2, 1530 Payerne, by appointment.
  • Kerbside delivery: delivery to the threshold of the address given (ground floor, truck access required), without carrying inside or unpacking.
  • Delivery and installation by 2 people: delivery to the room of your choice, unpacking, levelling, connection and removal of the packaging.

When a "free delivery" offer is running, it is applied automatically in the cart to the products concerned; the conditions of the offer are shown on the website. Delivery times shown on product pages are indicative (usually 3 to 5 working days for items in stock). After the order, we contact the customer to agree on a delivery date. Should a delivery time exceed 30 days, the customer may cancel the order free of charge and receive a full refund.

The customer checks the condition of the packaging and product on receipt. Visible transport damage must be noted on the delivery note and reported to us within 48 hours, with photos, at info@luxecave.ch. Risk passes to the customer on handover of the product.

6. Installation and connection

Installation is included only if the option "Delivery and installation by 2 people" has been chosen. The customer ensures that access (doors, stairs, lift), location (niche dimensions, ventilation) and power supply (dedicated 230 V socket) comply with the product page. Additional services made necessary by different conditions are agreed on site and invoiced at our hourly rate. Without the installation option, the customer commissions the appliance according to the manufacturer's instructions.

7. Right of return

Swiss law does not provide a right of withdrawal for online purchases. LuxeCave nevertheless grants private customers a 14‑day right of return from receipt for any product that is new, unused, not connected and in its complete original packaging. The customer announces the return by e‑mail to info@luxecave.ch; we organise collection or provide the return address. Return costs are borne by the customer (collection by us is charged at the rate of the delivery option chosen). The refund is made within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the product, using the original payment method. Excluded from the right of return: products that have been installed or put into service, made‑to‑measure or specially ordered products, and damaged or incomplete products.

8. Warranty

All products come with a manufacturer's warranty of at least 2 years from delivery (parts and labour according to the manufacturer's conditions shown on the product page), in addition to the statutory warranty for defects (art. 197 ff. of the Swiss Code of Obligations). After‑sales service in Switzerland is provided by Wine Guard Sàrl: the customer contacts us by e‑mail or phone and we organise the diagnosis, repair or replacement. Defects must be reported to us as soon as they are noticed. The warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by use, installation or maintenance not in accordance with the instructions, fluctuations of the electrical network, or work carried out by unauthorised third parties.

9. Retention of title

The product remains the property of Wine Guard Sàrl until the price has been paid in full.

10. Liability

We are liable in accordance with Swiss law. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect and consequential damage (in particular loss of wine due to a breakdown) resulting from slight negligence is excluded. This limitation does not apply in the event of intent or gross negligence, nor to personal injury. The customer remains responsible for the installation and use conditions of the product in accordance with the instructions.

11. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and our privacy policy available on the website. It is used to process the order, delivery and after‑sales service, and is passed on only to the service providers required (carrier, payment provider).

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Wine Guard Sàrl in Payerne, subject to mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction, in particular in favour of consumers.
